Prof Sebire is a clinical academic who is Professor of Pathology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children/UCL, and chief research information officer at the organisation. For the past three years he was the inaugural national chief clinical data officer at Health Data Research UK, with a major role in establishing standards for healthcare data interoperability for secondary research use. He runs the GOSH clinical-informatics research program which includes more than 15 Ph.D. students in various areas of clinical-informatics. He has a particular interest in real world and pragmatic issues relating to health data and informatics. He is an established highly cited researcher with >800 peer reviewed scientific publications (H-index 98, >42,000 citations)
